Here is a new drumming vst i am always having trouble finding good basic drum apps but this one looks promising using modeling algorithms to create bass drums, hi-hats, snares, realistic and electronic sounds too.
Since i have been posting these samples i figured you will be needing this.It is the industry standard in samplers. The latest version of kontakt which is compatible with most sample packs i will be posting on this site. Remember this is just the software only the original contents contains over 40gig of samples! i kind of find that pointless tho as i would probably never get around to using 10% of that amount so enjoy this realese and cheek out some of the sample packs i will be hunting down and posting.
Thought i would post my first sample pack today first up we have a dubstep sample pack surprise surprise featuring :15 atmosphere pads, 48 Dubstep Basslines, 30 Drumloops, 13 Sfx Hits, 17 Melody Loops and 50 Dubstep Drum Hits .this pack was created by toni ann of bullet proof breaks big ups thanks heaps! This is a multi format realese which you can edit with Kontakt, Halion, Reason NNXT and SFZ.
Have not done any cd releases lately so heres a new dnb release from camo and crooked which are defiantly in my top 10 jump style producers .
Ok today i have the latest from vestax a new midi controled mixing device more aimed to fill in the gap between djing and production. As far as built quality goes vestax are one of the best, these masterpieces of gadgetry are built rock solid with only the best knobs faders and buttons which the Vcm-600 is absolutely packed with them,160 assignable parameters in fact . With an aim to please ableton fans vestax have included 6 channel faders, 6 eqs and knobs and buttons for assigning all your favroute effects kills syncs , this thing even includes a pitch fader on the right hand side ! check this controler out for your self as there are to many functions for me to list in this whole page. In my local dj store they have this going for $1149aus which is not bad at all considering the vci-300 is still going for $1159aus ! vestax you truely are the kings of midi !
Behringer have been making some of the cheapest dj equipment for years but have just anounced a promising new series of mixers named the vmx series they say the faders will last upto half a million cycles which is quite impressive for behringer to say the least. They all include 2 intelligent bpm counters and full usb connectivity these should be an excellent collection to any amateur or intermediate djs collection. there are 4 versions two 2 channel, one 3 channel , and one 5 channel mixer. although i see no sign of any built in effects i dont think any one will be complaining once they see the price tags on these puppy's ,for the basic 2 channel version is only $150au and the price only goes up to $399au for the 5 channel these mixers are true bargains if i ever saw one.
