Pioneer never fails to upset me, the over priced marketing giants pioneer have realesed a mixer to suit there new cdj-2000/900 range .but have they gone too far? these things don't even look like DJ mixers anymore instead they look like the dash board for the millennium falcon. but dont get me wrong i love my technology and i will as always give pioneer a graceful well done.just look at the sheer size of this i thought the cdj-2000s where big enouph but now with an extra 8.5 KG of pioneer mixer technology you gotta have alot of cash, alot of deskspace and alot of free time to figure out all the features on this badboy. so they have labeled this mixer as " the world’s most complete and creative DJ mixer" which is most likely true but the features i am most fond of is the connectivity with the cdj-2000 ,two laptops can be connected, 4 cdjs can be linked to same audio source .This thing includes an eq for each effect ,frequency fader's a 5.8 inch screen ,finally bar loops,12 effects, separate lfo filters for every channel ,curve settings, midi settings , bpm counters , a live sampler . i think you get the point this thing is not for the faint harted! to be honest this really is a master piece of technology but most likely a mixer that just simply is not needed .this is probably more advanced than the equipment n.a.s.a. owns .this equipment will not improve your dj skills it will probably just make you look like a rich ass hole. i don't know the price tag and i don't want to nice try pioneer you have accomplished making the worlds most advanced mixer but have once again failed to incorporate the heart and soul of musical creativity.
